Trade Adjustment Assistance |
|
| Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) helps trade-affected |
| workers who have lost their jobs as a result of increased |
| imports or shifts in production out of the United States. |
|
| TAA benefits and services are provided to help eligible |
| workers get back to work. Workers who are certified |
| adversely affected by foreign trade must apply for |
| individual services and benefits through their local |
| One-Stop Center to determine individual eligibility for |
| reemployment services and benefits. |

|
Affected workers may receive one or more of the following Reemployment Trade Act Services at the One-Stop Centers:
cJob Search Registration cEmployment Counseling cCase Assessment cJob Development cSupportive Services cSelf-Directed Job Search Services cJob Search Allowances cRelocation Allowance cBasic or remedial education, classroom training OR employer-based training cInformation on Health Care Tax Credit (HCTC) cAlternative Trade Adustment Assistance (ATAA)
